Path traversal in Cisco SD-WAN Software allows local users to overwrite arbitrary device files through crafted CLI command arguments. The CLI insufficiently validates crafted arguments to unspecified commands, allowing attacker-controlled paths to escape their intended location and create or overwrite files. Authenticated CLI access is required, and overwriting operational files can interrupt service; Cisco has not identified the affected commands or exact failure mode.
