CVE-2020-26067Network attack vector

Browser data access via unsanitized usernames

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Cisco Webex Teams' cloud web interface allows remote authenticated users to access browser-based information. The service accepts HTML or script content in an account username and renders that name when the malicious account joins a space without properly neutralizing it. Exploitation requires an attacker-controlled account and a user's interaction with the affected space, bounding impact to the victim's browser session.
