Authentication bypass via unsanitized login parameters
Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in College Management System Php 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through crafted login requests. The index.php login handler interpolates the unfiltered unametxt and pwdtxt POST values directly into a users_tbl SELECT query. No account or user interaction is required; a tautology payload changes the query predicate and authenticates the request as a matching user.
