Unauthenticated data disclosure and modification
Published Jan 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 and 8.57 Tree Manager allows remote attackers to read and alter data through an HTTP flaw. Oracle has not published the faulty Tree Manager code path or how untrusted HTTP input reaches it. Exploitation requires no authentication but does require interaction by a person other than the attacker; successful attacks can read a subset of accessible data and update, insert, or delete some accessible data.
