CVE-2020-26008Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via upload extension blacklist

Published Mar 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Arbitrary file upload in ShopXO 1.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through a crafted plugin archive. PluginsUpload in application/service/PluginsAdminService.php relies on a .php extension blacklist, then passes an attacker-controlled path and contents to file_put_contents. Access to the administrative application-upload interface is required; Windows filename normalization enables a PHP web shell to reach a web-accessible upload directory.
