Authenticated code execution via payment-plugin upload
Published Mar 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Arbitrary file upload in ShopXO 1.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through a payment-plugin ZIP. PaymentService.php writes attacker-controlled archive contents, and GetPaymentConfig invokes class_exists, triggering autoload inclusion before failed validation deletes the file. Access to the administrative payment-method upload page is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the ShopXO web process's privileges.
