XXE in Symphony 2.7.10 allows remote attackers to disclose information or interrupt service via crafted XML submitted to the parser. The convertFromXMLString function passes untrusted XML directly to DOMDocument::loadXML without disabling external entities, allowing entity expansion during parsing. Exploitation requires network access to a code path that accepts attacker-controlled XML; consequences are information disclosure or denial of service, with no integrity impact reported.
