CVE-2020-25755Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized force parameter

Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

OS command injection in Enphase Envoy R3.x and D4.x devices allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via the force parameter. The /installer/upgrade_start handler passes the force query value directly into a system command without sanitization. Access to the installer interface is required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the gateway and permits alteration of reported solar-generation data.
