Uninitialized memory use in Oracle VM VirtualBox before 5.2.40, 6.0.20, or 6.1.6 allows local users to compromise the hypervisor. The OHCI endpoint data path accesses memory that has not been properly initialized before use, letting crafted guest input influence execution. Exploitation requires high-privileged code execution in a guest and high attack complexity; successful chaining executes code in the hypervisor context.
