CVE-2020-25715Network attack vector

Script execution via unsanitized certificate-search pagination values

Published May 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Reflected XSS in Dogtag PKI pki-core 10.9.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted POST request. ListCerts passes request and certificate values into the queryCert pagination template, which writes them into the document without JavaScript escaping. Exploitation requires user interaction and an RHCS certificate in the victim's browser, and the script runs with that user's PKI web-session access.
