User deletion via tokenless GET request
Published May 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Projectworlds Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete users via crafted requests. The update.php handler accepts a demail query parameter and deletes matching rank, history, and user rows without a request-specific anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load an attacker-controlled request, after which the selected account and associated records are deleted.
