Authenticated internal service probing via unchecked connection parameters
Published Aug 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SSRF in rConfig 3.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to open arbitrary network connections via crafted device parameters. The /lib/ajaxHandlers/ajaxDeviceStatus.php handler uses deviceIpAddr and connPort as the destination host and port for a server-side connection. An authenticated account can probe services reachable from the rConfig host, with the demonstrated impact limited to connection and port-status disclosure.
