DLL hijacking in Siemens LOGO! Soft Comfort before 8.4 allows local users to take over the host through unsafe library loading. The application's library loader resolves a DLL through an uncontrolled search path, allowing attacker-supplied code to load in its process. Exploitation requires local placement of a crafted DLL; the code receives the application's privileges and can read, alter, or interrupt host resources.
