Cleartext transmission in Rockwell Automation ISaGRAF Runtime 4.x and 5.x allows remote attackers to read, upload, or delete files. The Configuration Manager exposes the proprietary IXL service over TCP and exchanges file-operation and application-upload messages without encryption. Exploitation requires network access and user interaction but no authentication; successful traffic can disclose data or alter or remove runtime files.
