Core RDBMS takeover via gateway version SQL injection

SQL injection in Oracle Database Core RDBMS 11.2.0.4, 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, 18c, and 19c allows remote attackers to take over the service via OracleNet. A linked database gateway's untrusted version string is incorporated into SQL and can reference a function that executes as a privileged database user. The database must query a malicious or intercepted gateway, so exploitation requires another person's interaction and can expose or alter database data or interrupt the service.
