Unauthenticated password disclosure via unprotected configuration endpoint
Published Sep 2, 2020 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Password disclosure in D-Link DCS-2530L and DCS-2670L allows remote attackers to read administrator credentials via HTTP. The /config/getuser endpoint returns administrator account data without authentication on DCS-2530L 1.05.05 and earlier and DCS-2670L 2.02 and earlier. Exploitation requires network access to the camera's web interface, but no credentials or user interaction; the direct consequence is administrator-password disclosure, not command execution.
