Local code execution via malformed AAC layout

The CVE record says a buffer overflow in FFmpeg 3.1.2 AAC decoding lets local users execute arbitrary code through crafted input. sniff_channel_order infers 22.2 channel layouts from element counts without tracking channels already assigned, allowing malformed AAC configuration data to produce an invalid channel mapping. Local access and crafted AAC processing are required; Debian reports that the affected code existed only on FFmpeg 4.4 development branches, not in a release.
