Cookie theft via unneutralized reflected URL input
Published Jan 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Quixplorer 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser through a crafted URL. The web request handler returns user-controlled URL input in an HTML response without adequate validation or neutralization. Exploitation requires the victim to click the link; the injected script runs in the site's security context and can steal cookie-based credentials.
