Authenticated SQL injection via page replacement parameter
Published Mar 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in FUEL CMS 1.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through the page replacement endpoint. The pages/replace/1 handler uses the multipart fuel_replace_id value in database processing without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid CMS session is required to submit the crafted request, which supports database enumeration and access or modification of stored data.
