Published Sep 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Missing authorization and input validation in ABB Base Software for SoftControl 6.1 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute code. The SoftController processes specially crafted network messages without validating access or input data, permitting arbitrary code insertion. The SoftController must be running and network-reachable; injected code runs with the privileges of the user who launched it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
