Selected data disclosure via mixed-key fragment reassembly

Mixed-key fragment reassembly in IEEE 802.11 implementations allows physically proximate attackers to read selected client data. Receivers combine fragments decrypted under different WEP, CCMP, or GCMP keys without verifying that one key protected the complete frame. Exploitation requires a multi-channel man-in-the-middle position, fragmented traffic, and periodic key renewal; fragmentation and pairwise rekeying are disabled by default, while Wi-Fi 6 can fragment dynamically.
