Fragment cache misuse in 802.11 Wi-Fi implementations allows physically proximate attackers to inject packets or exfiltrate data. Receivers retain incomplete encrypted fragments across disconnection or reconnection, then reassemble a victim's later fragment with attacker-controlled cached data. Exploitation requires wireless proximity, a shared access point, and a victim that sends fragmented frames, which is uncommon in practice.
