Stored script execution via review replies
Published May 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in TinyShop 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through crafted product-review replies. The /evaluate/index.php page stores explain_first and again_explain input without neutralizing script content before later rendering it. Exploitation requires a victim to view the affected reply, allowing script to read browser-accessible information or modify page content.
