Arbitrary script execution via reflected echostr input
Published Jan 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in JIZHICMS 1.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary browser script through a crafted WeChat callback request. Home/c/WechatController.php's checkWeixin() reads the echostr query parameter and echoes it into the response without output encoding after signature comparison. Exploitation requires a crafted signature and victim interaction with the resulting URL, enabling script execution in the vulnerable site's browser origin.
