Stored script injection via forged settings request
Published Jan 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in WDJA CMS 1.5 allows remote attackers to store script through the tongji setting in the admin interface. admin/global/manage.php accepts a cross-origin POST to its basic-settings action and stores the tongji value as site statistics code without request-origin validation. An authenticated administrator must visit attacker-controlled content; the forged request then plants script that executes when the affected page renders.
