Router reboot via forged management request
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in OPTILINK OP-XT71000N V2.2 with firmware OP_V3.3.1-191028 allows remote attackers to reboot the router. The /mgm_dev_reboot.asp endpoint accepts a cross-origin management request without verifying that the user intentionally initiated the reboot. A user with an active management session must load attacker-controlled content, and a successful request interrupts routing during the reboot.
