Browser script execution via unneutralized navigation name
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in noneCMS 1.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser through a crafted navigation name. The admin/nav/add.html handler places the name parameter into web output without neutralizing executable HTML or script content. An authenticated account must submit the navigation entry and a victim must render the affected page, enabling browser-session data reads and actions as that victim.
