Browser script execution via unfiltered iframe source
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in YzmCMS 5.6 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted article iframe source. The member/member_content/init.html editor filters script tags but accepts an iframe whose src attribute uses a JavaScript URL. A victim must open the affected editing content, after which the script runs with that browser session's access and can read or alter page data.
