Unauthenticated account impersonation via loose hash comparison

Authentication bypass in Codiad 2.8.4 allows remote attackers to impersonate an account using a password with a numeric-looking hash. The Authenticate() method in components/user/class.user.php uses PHP loose equality to compare password hashes, causing distinct 0e-prefixed numeric strings to compare as equal. Exploitation requires the targeted account's stored hash to have that numeric form; successful login grants the account's authorized capabilities without revealing its password.
