Heap-based buffer overflow in Bento4 06c39d9 allows attackers to crash mp42aac by supplying a crafted media file. AP4_RtpAtom allocates a one-byte buffer, while AP4_StdcFileByteStream::ReadPartial passes a 439-byte request to fread, overwriting that allocation. Processing the file with mp42aac is required; the demonstrated consequence is an aborting application crash, with no reported disclosure or code execution.
