Browser-side script execution via stored module title
Published Apr 4, 2023 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
Stored XSS in Z-BlogPHP 1.0 allows attackers to execute browser-side script through a crafted module title in module management. The reported module-creation workflow stores the title and later renders it without neutralizing embedded JavaScript, causing execution after saving. Reaching module management and inducing a browser to render the saved title are required; the upstream project labels the report as fraudulent.
