Stack overflow in JerryScript 2.2.0 regular-expression matching allows remote attackers to crash an embedding application with crafted JavaScript. The ecma_regexp_match function recursively processes nested quantified groups until the call stack is exhausted. No authentication or user interaction is required, but reachability depends on an embedding application evaluating attacker-controlled JavaScript; successful triggering terminates that application.
