Unauthenticated SQL injection via unvalidated sort field
Published Jan 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Mingsoft MCMS 5.0 allows remote attackers to infer database data through an unauthenticated view.do request. The view action passes the orderby parameter to queryIdsByCategoryIdForParser, where IContentDao.xml inserts it into an ORDER BY expression without validation or parameter binding. A valid content id is required; deployments using the development data-source configuration also permit stacked statements that can create an administrator account.
