Script execution via unsanitized Logic field
Published Jul 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CMS Made Simple 2.2.14 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the Content Manager Logic field. The Content Manager processes the Logic value without neutralizing attacker-controlled markup before rendering it in an administrative browser. Content Manager access and a separate user interaction are required; exploitation runs script in that user's browser context and can expose or modify browser-accessible data.
