Cross-site scripting in Cacti 1.2.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in administrators' browsers via crafted fields. Reports, data-query, data-input, graph-template, and graph pages render attacker-controlled values without adequate output escaping, allowing stored payloads to execute when a privileged user views affected records. Exploitation requires an authorized Cacti account with permissions to modify the relevant data and a victim who views the poisoned content; impact is browser-session compromise and arbitrary actions in the victim's context.
