Authenticated reflected XSS via theme field
Published Jul 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in PHP-Fusion 9.03.60 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via the Manage Theme field. The /administration/theme.php handler reflects the crafted Manage Theme value into an HTML response without context-appropriate output encoding. A remote authenticated user must submit the payload and induce a victim to load the resulting response; the consequence is script execution in the victim's browser with no reported service interruption.
