Authenticated file disclosure via log path traversal
Published Jan 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Pyrescom Termod4 before 10.04k allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive files through its web interface. The Maintenance > Logs handler accepts a file path from the request URL and resolves traversal sequences without confining the result to the log directory. A valid device session is required, and successful requests disclose readable local files without altering them.
