Unauthenticated file disclosure via path parameter traversal
Published Oct 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Dropouts Technologies Super Backup 2.0.5 allows remote attackers to read files through the list and download modules. The modules pass the attacker-controlled path parameter to the local list command without restricting traversal outside the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the exposed consequence is read-only access to files available to the application.
