Reflected XSS via searchString response injection
Published Oct 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Macrob7 Macs Framework CMS 1.14f allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through search. The search module accepts a POSTed searchString value and reflects it into the results page without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a user to submit or open the crafted search request; executed script can hijack that session or alter displayed module content.
