Reflected XSS via unsanitized tpl.php parameters
Published Oct 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in DedeCMS 7.5 SP2 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser via crafted GET requests. The tpl.php component reflects the filename, mid, userid, and templet parameters into its response without neutralizing script content. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL and enables session theft, phishing, redirects, or actions within the victim's web session.
