Remote code execution via UDP string-copy overflow

Buffer overflow in Espruino before 2.09 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by triggering UDP socket message handling. In the UDP receive path, socketReceivedUDP passes a nine-byte stack buffer to jsvGetStringChars, whose conversion writes one byte beyond its end. Network reachability to an Espruino UDP socket is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates parser-memory corruption and an AddressSanitizer-detected crash.
