CVE-2020-22875Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via array length overflow

Published Jul 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Integer overflow in jsish before 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted JavaScript array-length operations. The jsi_ArrayMapCmd path accepts attacker-controlled array lengths through Jsi_ObjSetLength; oversized values exceed internal allocation limits and trigger an assertion or memory-safety failure. Exploitation requires a remotely reachable jsish interpreter that evaluates supplied scripts, with consequences including process crash or arbitrary code execution depending on runtime state.
