Unauthenticated device reboot via unchecked FTP request

Buffer overflow in the FTP service of MikroTik RouterOS 6.47 allows remote attackers to reboot devices with crafted FTP requests. The nova/ftpd process fails to check the length of the first request, so an oversized payload exhausts memory and reboots the system. No authentication or syntactically valid FTP command is required; network access to the FTP control service is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is a device reboot.
