Radio configuration tampering via Web GUI command injection
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
Command injection in Ruckus wireless controllers and access points allows remote attackers to alter radio-region settings through the Web GUI. The Web GUI passes attacker-controlled regulatory and WLAN configuration values to privileged commands without adequate neutralization; public records do not identify the handler or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can unlock prohibited regions, raise radio power, and create SSIDs beyond the normal per-radio limit.
