Improper access control in Ruckus network-device firmware allows remote attackers to persistently write unauthorized firmware images. The image-upgrade path accepts and stores attacker-supplied firmware without enforcing the authorization needed to restrict image writes. The management interface must be network-reachable; successful exploitation persistently modifies device firmware without a reported confidentiality or availability impact.
