Authenticated command execution via unsanitized RRDdatabase_path parameter
Published Aug 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
OS command injection in Centreon 19.10.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary operating-system commands. The /graphStatus/displayServiceStatus.php endpoint incorporates the RRDdatabase_path parameter into a shell command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Network access and a valid low-privilege session are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands with the web application's privileges.
