CVE-2020-22200Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file read via unchecked path parameter

Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Path traversal in phpCMS 9.1.13 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through the public_get_suggest_keyword endpoint. The function passes the q parameter into file_get_contents without rejecting parent-directory sequences, allowing the resolved path to escape its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to files readable by the web service process.
