Database disclosure via unescaped appointment identifier
Published Jun 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Hospital Management System in PHP 4.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data. The appointment-history.php handler inserts the GET id value directly into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling conditional delays to reveal query results. A failed login attempt leaves the session login value nonempty, bypassing the page's login check and allowing unauthenticated, character-by-character database disclosure.
