SQL injection via unvalidated article identifiers
Published Jul 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in NukeViet CMS 4.0.10 through 4.3.07 allows remote attackers to execute injected SQL through the news topic handler. In modules/news/admin/addtotopics.php, comma-separated listid values are concatenated into UPDATE and SELECT statements without numeric validation; the patch changes their processing from trim to intval. The public CVE description instead names topicsid, but that value was already parsed as an integer; the affected file is an administrative handler even though NVD rates exploitation as requiring no privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
