Server-side code execution via unrestricted cron suffix
Published Jun 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Arbitrary file inclusion in IBOS Open 4.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through the dashboard cron controller. CronController.php builds a scheduled-task path without restricting the filename suffix, then includes the selected file. Exploitation requires administrative dashboard access and a separately placed executable file, yielding server-side code execution.
